Wedding | Emma + Fahdy, Paris

I love photographing weddings. It's one of the occasions when my job as a photographer takes on its noblest meaning: capturing fractions of a second that mean so much in a lifetime.

Photographing a wedding means being a privileged witness to strong emotions. It's being a mirror and a collector of memories that will stay with you forever. And adopting a documentary / editorial photography style is (in my opinion), the best way to grasp them.

I met Emma in 2022. She was my right-hand woman for a year during the time of Les Petites Françaises, my first company. We grew up a lot together and I'll never be grateful enough for everything she did for me right up to the end. So when she called to ask me to photograph her union with Fahdy, all I could say was a gigantic yes.
